Ela,
This is a good sound review of this book you so respect. You have clearly read it as well as enjoying the audio extra. Perhaps it would be even better and deeper if you quoted from it to give visitors more of an idea about the tone and readability of the book.
I’m going to get it because I’m a mindful educator and sometimes I get clients with eating disorders. I cannot imagine what it must be like to have problems with ingesting food. Eating and cooking are two of my favourite pastimes actually and I really believe we are what we eat!
Mental abnormalities seem so common these days in young people so it’s wonderful that your mission is to support them.Â
Blessings and Success.

I can completely relate to the struggle of regulating eating habits. It’s so easy to rush through meals and treat food merely as a resource. Your post has served as a powerful reminder for me to slow down, appreciate the present moment, and truly savour what’s in front of me. It’s a wonderful wake-up call to prioritize the enjoyment of eating rather than viewing it as a mere task. Thanks for sharing this perspective; it’s a much-needed inspiration to approach meals with mindfulness and gratitude.
Best regards,
Dean
